WiMAX is generally considered to be available only to the corporate customers and professionals. Now it is no more a restricted application since people have started to experience the swiftness of WiMAX. This feature enables us to stream smooth video footage, browse the internet and carry on video phone conversation with fellows on the other end of the globe. Most striking feature is that all these can be done at the same time at around five million bits per second. All the above mentioned feature is made possible by a matchbox sized plug-in card that fits into a PCMCIA slot of a laptop computer. We can obtain the zippy speed of WiMAX on any laptop with hardware which resembles more or less like a wireless data cords. WiMAX is about to show a furtive entry into an around the 5 MHz band using unlicensed bands resembling the operational feature of Wi-Fi. Presently WiMAX is 10 times faster than Wi-Fi and it can multiply it speed up to 400 times in the future.

Color your SMS
Do you know the life span of our mobiles? It is a heartening fact that the life is getting dumpy day by day. We witness the improved versions knocking the door each day. Advancements in the technology include new software being installed and the memory space increasing rapidly. One ingredient that has remained universal to all mobile phones is Short Messaging Service (SMS). This has not transformed its structure, prototype or even color. Black and white structure of it has not been modified. It is now time to give your SMS a diverse color to match your frame of mind. SMS2.0 encompasses the attributes of a web chat in an SMS set up. This elite service offers icons, colors and even the users have the opportunity to view the latest news on their window. Limitation here is that only those using the Nokia handset inculcated with GPRS feature and an Airtel connection can exploit this facility. It is because of the fact that only they have the Symbian operating system that is required for SMS2.0 to function.
This service has seen wider acceptance among the people. All you need to do is send an SMS with the message SMS2 to 54321.This will probably get you the web link to download the software. Then we will encounter the automatic activation of the GPRS connection that paves way for the download activity to launch. Customers have to follow the instructions to make this a default service on their phone. Additional feature is that every time you send or read a SMS you will perceive the latest headlines from websites such as Indiatimes and Cricinfo. Ads also pop up during this session which facilitates the providers to offer this service free of cost to the customers.

Go for Silverlight
So far we have seen many applications being implanted into the mobile phones. Now Microsoft has decided to bring its new Silverlight application to the mobile phones. Silverlight permit web applications to be developed with features like animation, vector graphics and any audio-video playback that exemplifies rich internet applications. It has been designed to provide a tough competition to the Adobe’s Flash Player which is used in both mobiles and websites. One of the striking differences between the Flash Player and the Silverlight is that the textual content created with the help of the latter is more easier to search and indexable. It supports the playback of WMV, WMA and MP3 media content across all sustainable browsers. It has been said that this elevated application would create richer web applications and some have even described this as Flash Killer. Nokia has decided to launch this application first in its S60 platform. This model uses the Symbian operating system. Other leading companies such as Samsung and LG also use S60 in its smart phones. We can also find this application being used in Nokia’s latest N96 phone.

Sachin writes his own script
God offers at the right time. This was proved at the Sydney cricket ground where the master showcased his class that helped India to take an impeccable lead in the series. SCG (Sachin cricket ground) was set to fireworks by his unblemished batting and the experience he carries with him. What is great about Sachin is that he won’t let the criticism to prevail for a long time. We saw that in this innings which was sublime and even though he cramped a little bit he worked around well to see India win the match. This century will be rated along the innings which led to our victory at sharjah. What makes him immortal? People expects much form him and when they don’t receive it they get dejected. He is such a great player that he is the first person to get depressed when he feels that he is not delivering up to his potential. This makes him the legend among others and this is why he is considered as God in the religion of cricket.
We will be failing in our duty if we don’t applaud the composed and timely knock
of Rohit Sharma. His innings was over shadowed by the master’s innings, but he was also one of the architects in our triumph. It was no wonder that he showed great temperament and skill in his knock because he was batting with Sachin. Form is always temporary but class remains permanent. He will the God as long as cricket is played.
